EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
HSCA is involved with community and FACCS activities. Students in Graces 1 to 8 have opportunity to participate in the Martin County Spelling Bee. High School and 8th Grade students compete in the Martin County Science Fair. Numerous opportunities for involvement are available at FACCS Fine Arts Competition for High School. At the Junior FACCS Fine Arts Competition, elementary students compete in areas of Bible, Music, Drama, Art, and Writing.
Music Department

HSCA offers an excellent variety of music opportunities for students. Several choirs are available to students. Various instrumental and piano lessons are offered. Our affiliation with Hobe Sound Bible College provides an excellent resource for qualified music instructors. Each year our students participate in the Singing Christmas Tree, Choral performance at the Kravvis Center, and FACCS Fine Arts Competition.
Private Lessons / Band / Choirs: Private Music Lessons and classes are scheduled throughout the day for students' convenience. private lessons are given in piano, string, brass, woodwind, harp, and percussion instruments along with voice lessons. Contact the Music Department for schedules.
Sports
During the school year, each student has the opportunity to participate in Field Day. Students compete in five to six different events on that day. It is one of the highlights of the school year. Students also participate in Physical Education daily.
Intramural Sports: Every Friday night, high school students are invited to participate in intramural sports with the college students. Football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, are some of the sports that are scheduled during the school year. In addition, an intramural soccer program will be added in Spring 2008.
